As a whole class of animals, amphibians are facing a very uncertain future. As habitats are disrupted, chemicals concentrate in their ponds, and a uniquely challenging threat from disease takes out whole communities of amphibians, recent reports indicate that amphibians are particularly threatened. Dr. Blaustein provides an overview.
