The Mystery of Drawing Trees
1. Each tree is an individual
2. Each leaf, twig, branch and limb tells the story of the struggle to find it's place in the sun. |
3. Learn the "clock angle" of tree branches |
Refer to the angles as 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock, even 1:15 angles. |

3g You have to look carefully at the "initial" angle |
This limb grows down through time and can be confusing. So always start with the initial clock angle then have it grow to get sunlight. But always remember to repeat the angles |
4. The edges of tree growth seem to follow straigt lines. |
5. When you do these things, your tree comes to life. |
